Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach – Hampshire Cricket
A newly created role within the Hampshire Cricket Science & Medicine Department. The Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach will support in delivering pitch-based and gym-based Strength and Conditioning support to Professional, Academy and Development squads.

Assist the Science and Medicine team:
− Conducting physical profiling during scheduled screening days/weeks with Professional, Academy and Development squads.
− Conducting physical profiling with rehabilitating Professional and Academy players, as agreed with the Senior Strength and Conditioning Coach.
− Training and match day preparation and support including the management of GPS and internal workload monitoring.
− Implementation and management of the injury prevention and performance enhancement supporting systems.
− Deliver S&C provision to Hampshire College and Inner-City Academy groups with guidance and mentorship from Senior S&C and Head of Science and Medicine.
− Upkeep and maintenance of all Science and Medicine equipment and room space. This includes gym-based and pitch-based training and testing equipment.
− Ensure all Hampshire Cricket data/information is held safely and with confidentiality.
− Undergraduate Degree in Sport Science (or similar)
− Keen interest in developing a career in sports science/strength and conditioning
