The Rotorua Cricket Association (RCA) is looking to employ a self-motivated person over the summer 2023-24 and winter period of 2024, to assist our  board, committees, volunteers and coaches in the region  to provide a quality cricketing experience for players and parents.

The candidate should have good communication skills and a passion for cricket. Sports administration and / or cricket coaching experience would be an advantage. The Cricket Coordinator will take responsibility for the standard, quality and delivery of  Rotorua Cricket programs, through effective management of resources and leadership of volunteers and our coaches

The role is a seasonal position with the role split into 2 six-month periods, Winter and Summer.  The summer period runs from 1st October 2023 to 31 March 2024, and the winter period from 1 April - 30 September 2024.

Hours of work for the summer period are approx. 18-22 hours per week, and in the winter period 15-20 hours per week.   Some weekend work will be necessary given the nature of cricket and when it's played.

The employment is subject to external funding for each period.
