Royal The Hague Cricket Club (HCC), founded in 1878, is the second oldest and the largest cricket club in the Netherlands and part of the Royal Hague Cricket and Football Club.  For a further introduction we refer to :

Key responsibilities

  • Head coach H.C.C. juniors and seniors.
  • Prepare training programs for all teams and age categories.
  • Supervise and mentor coaching staff.
  • Creating a positive & inclusive performance culture.
  • Take the lead in building and developing local talent.
  • Report to and work closely with the Technical Committee to ensure the development of the club’s programs.

 

Skills, experience and requirements

  • Preferred coaching qualification UKCC Level 3 or international equivalent.
  • Experience in coaching and developing players & teams (performance & recreational)
  • Knowledge and understanding of talent development.
  • Excellent leadership & organization skills.
  • Strong communication skills, highly organized and disciplined.
  • Ability to independently manage and guide the club’s coaches.
  • Has sincere interest and is able to transfer passion and enthusiasm to all members of the club.
  • Fluent in English.

 

Employment conditions

We offer a contract for the duration of the cricket season, starting in March and ending middle of September 2024. Renumeration and other terms are negotiable. Subject to the outcome of the first season the HCC is keen to create continuity and extend the contract for another 2-3 years.

 

This vacancy is open to candidates residing in or having a passport of one of the EU member countries and the European Economic Area.
