
Junior Participation Specialist
About the role
SACA is looking for an experienced Junior Participation Specialist to join our Community Cricket team. The Junior Participation Specialist will support and facilitate the growth of Australian Cricket’s National Entry Level Programs (ELPs) to increase recruitment and retention of registered players. This includes coordinating the school to club strategy and managing the allocation of resources to South Australian based Woolworths Cricket Blast programs.
Key responsibilities:
- Support and assist in the development, organisation, and overall end to end project management for special projects, events and programs including but not limited too; School Visit Program, Woolworths Cricket Blast coordinator training, Adelaide Strikers holiday programs and On-Ground experiences.
- Assist in the recruitment, management and booking of Community Cricket Casual Cricket Officers Build and manage internal stakeholder relationships.
- Provide leadership to casual and volunteer resources involved in the delivery of programs. Manage and deliver appropriate training programs for SACA field staff, SACA Casual Cricket Officers & program coordinators.
- Provide learnings and data led insights from the field to inform future program development.

Required Skills & Experience
Relevant experience with sporting networks and other relevant stakeholder groups including schools, clubs, associations, and volunteers
Proven ability in engaging customers/stakeholders and influencing their product/purchasing choices
An understanding of the avenues available for growing participation in sport
High level organisational skills to manage the logistics associated with the roll out of program
Ability to influence SACA internal/external stakeholders and build strong relationships.
The presence and energy to motivate both paid and unpaid resources involved locally in the game
Ability to use/learn to use data platforms (i.e. PlayHQ, PowerBI etc) to input and track participation data
The capacity to instil a culture that is inclusive and supportive and embraces hard work and effort whilst also providing the opportunity for fun and camaraderie
Excellent presentation and written communication skills
Drivers Licence
You will hold a valid Working with Children Check or have the ability to obtain one
