Frinton on Sea Cricket Club, established in 1904, is very much part of the local community. It provides an excellent venue and facilities for playing and watching cricket.

The Club runs 4 senior teams at weekends, a ladies team and three junior teams. The 1st XI has competed in the East Anglian Premier League since 2015, winning it in 2019.

The other senior teams play in the Two Counties league with the 2nd and 3rd XIs gaining promotion last season. Our ladies team won their league in 2022 and we also have a thriving junior section with 3 colts teams (u11, u13, u15).

We are looking to appoint a player / head coach for the 2024 season to play in our 1st XI and lead the coaching and development of our players to reach their potential.

The main duties of the role are:

• Play in our 1st XI for the 2024 season.
• Lead a small team to deliver cricket coaching at the club:
o Primary school age – Monday evenings
o Secondary school age – Tuesday evenings
o Seniors – Thursday evenings
o Ladies – Friday evenings
• Select colts teams, umpire and scorer for each fixture.
• Arrange the 5-day cricket summer school in August.
• Grow and develop the junior section of the club.
