
Premier Cricket Club Officer
SACA is looking for an experienced Premier Cricket Club Officer to join our Premier Cricket team. Reporting to the Manager – Premier Cricket, the Premier Cricket Club Officer will be responsible for providing support to the SACA Premier Cricket Clubs on the development of action plans toward the Premier Cricket vision statement. This role will support clubs in accessing specialist SACA resources and programs to develop healthy and sustainable clubs.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist clubs develop initiatives to improve overall health, including strategic planning, and facility forecasting
- Liaise with Community Cricket and ensure implementation in clubs of best practices in Child Protection
- Support the development of cricketers by facilitating movement within the pathway
- Focus strongly on connecting community clubs with Premier clubs and ensuring the pathway is collaborative
- In conjunction with clubs, identify facilities which require improvements and create plans to achieve upgrades
- Support clubs to create welcoming and inclusive environments for Women and Girls
- Coordinate Premier club submissions to secure SACA annual funding
- Encourage and assist clubs to create an inclusive environment where parents want to bring young cricketers.

Enthusiasm and passion for the sport of cricket and a commitment to see the sport develop
Experience in sporting pathways and club development
Excellent interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication, liaison, influencing, negotiation, conflict resolution and active listening
Excellent computer skills, particularly in word processing, spreadsheets, database management and presentation skills
A very strong work ethic, organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines with changing work priorities
Ability to build strong personal relationships with stakeholders
Demonstrated experience in developing data capture management and use of data to drive decision making
Time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks between multiple teams
Ability to operate, problem solve and make decisions in a high-pressure environment
You will hold a valid Working with Children Check or have the ability to obtain one
