Product Designer
NV Play is a Christchurch based scale-up that delivers a range of industry defining cricket technology solutions to some of the biggest names in the sport, including the Mumbai Indians, the England and Wales Cricket Board and New Zealand Cricket.
With our roots firmly in the elite game, we are in the process of completely reimagining the NV Play platform to deliver a truly global direct to market offering to amateur, recreational and professional cricket clubs, coaches, player academies and broadcasters everywhere.
A key aspect of this direct to market offering is a comprehensive online platform allowing customers to manage all aspects of their product experience, from purchase, onboarding, user management and renewals, through to fixturing and competition management, team management and match statistics. Beyond this, we have big plans to build on our current mobile and desktop software offerings.
We are looking for an experienced Product or UX/UI Designer with a passion for crafting exceptional user experiences to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our platform.
You will work collaboratively with our cross-functional team, including our technical leads, product manager and engineers, to deliver an intuitive and visually appealing product experience. Your primary focus will be on understanding & resolving sophisticated user experience design challenges and translating them into wireframes and high-quality design solutions.
To be successful in this role, you will have a deep passion of the game of cricket, a sound understanding of user design principles and an authentic personality. There is flexibility in terms of hours, but you must be able to work out of our Christchurch office by default.
Preference will be given to applicants with excellent & proven experience in a fast-moving product development environment. A decent average won't hurt either.
Bonus points if you can start tomorrow.
