Schools Development Officer

• To coordinate all full-time coaches and manage part time coaches including creating timetables for all WCF programmes.
• To run the Chance to Shine and other coaching programmes in Primary & Secondary Schools in Worcestershire:
- To organise the coaching programme and associated administration including impact reporting and
Chance to Shine portal monitoring.
- Creating and maintaining relationships with schools and school staff.
- To liaise with schools in booking programmes.
- Seek and promote added value opportunities with schools with a school offer programme.
- To book taster sessions in to promote National Programmes.
- To work closely with Club Development Officers to help them develop and sustain youth sections at local clubs.
- To ensure all necessary funding conditions for Chance to Shine are met.
- To support and liaise with the School Games Organisers (SGO’s).
• To oversee a competition programme in Worcestershire schools including the following:
- Chance to Compete
- WSCA competitions
- Lady Taverners Competitions
- Key Stage 1 Festivals
- Dynamos School Festivals for Year 4 ,Year 5, Year 5&6 Girls, Year 6,
- Secondary State Schools festivals

Job Details

Required Skills & Experience
• Experience of working with schools and understanding of current educational practices
• Understanding of current programmes undertaken by Worcestershire Cricket Foundation.
• An understanding of the cricket landscape and support networks – ECB, Chance to Shine and key partners.
• A good understanding of the challenges and opportunities for school cricket programmes in
• Understanding the exit routes for all participants through Club and Community settings.
Pay rate
£22,000 - £25,000 dependant on experience
