The Blaze are seeking a dependable and personable full time Strength and Conditioning (S&C) Coach to join as a key member of the Sport Science and Sport Medicine team, ideally starting January 2024.

This is an exciting time to join The Blaze as they develop and grow at a cricket ground of global repute first established in 1838, Trent Bridge. The Blaze are one of eight professional women’s teams, representing the East Midlands, as part of the ECB’s vision to transform women & girls’ cricket.

The primary responsibility of the role will be to implement a long term athletic develop model and deliver this through physical preparation of the academy and Emerging Player Programme (EPP). The successful candidate will also work in collaboration with the Lead S&C Coach in the delivery of S&C services to the professional and 2nd XI squads.

Using high quality interpersonal and communication skills, you will work in collaboration with staff to conduct a battery of fitness tests, track workloads, effectively report results, agree recovery strategies for players, assist with injury rehabilitations and work closely with coaching staff to ensure player development plans align with performance goals.
