TOURS & MUSEUM ASSISTANT ADMINISTRATOR

An opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual to join the Tours department on a Casual Worker Agreement as a Tours and Museum Administrator.

Our Tours operation trades all year round - with additional Museum events and experiences operating throughout the summer months.

This position is primarily carried out day-to-day administrative tasks, including answering telephone calls and emails. Meet, greet, and escort museum and/or tours visitors from the Lord’s gates to the museum.  Occasional weekend working where, after a period of training, opportunities can become available to take on operational responsibilities.

Required Skills & Experience
Customer service background acquired in a sports venue or other business settings.
Proficient in handling high volumes of individuals within a dynamic environment with professionalism. Demonstrates composure under pressure, effectively guiding customers in a courteous and assertive manner to ensure adherence to safety, security procedures, and ground regulations.
Administrative experience, including office-related tasks.
Strong interpersonal skills for fostering and sustaining relationships with colleagues, MCC staff from diverse departments, and Ground visitors.
Punctual and maintains a professional appearance.
Computer literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Capable of working under pressure, managing multiple demands concurrently.
Adaptable and comfortable in frequently changing conditions.
Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and across various tour types, contingent upon availability.
