Marylebone Cricket Club (the Club) is the world’s most active cricket club, custodian of the Laws of Cricket and is also the owner of Lord’s Ground, affectionately known as the “Home of Cricket”.  The MCC and Lord’s brands are renowned worldwide and are synonymous with excellence, prestige and providing an enjoyable customer experience, whether at an international cricket match or a special event.

Our Tours operation trades all year round - with additional Museum events and experiences operating throughout the summer months.

This position is primarily to Support on-foot tour groups on tours lasting circa 120-180 minutes across different areas around the Ground, including access via stairs and lifts.

Act as an information point between the Tour guide and the office via radio communication.

Ability to maintain calm under pressure and able to direct customers in a polite and firm manner to make sure safety and security procedures and ground regulations are followed at all times.

Required Skills & Experience
Previous experience acquired in a sports venue or any high-standard customer service-oriented business.
Demonstrates the ability to remain composed under pressure, efficiently directing customers in a courteous yet assertive manner.
Possesses excellent face-to-face customer service skills, handling professionally the challenges of interacting with large numbers of individuals in a sometimes-bustling environment.
Strong interpersonal skills for cultivating and sustaining working relationships with colleagues, MCC staff across various departments, and Ground visitors.
Maintains a professional appearance and is punctual.
Exhibits good time management skills.
Capable of working effectively under pressure, handling multiple demands simultaneously.
Capacity to stand and walk for extended periods.
Adaptable and comfortable working in frequently changing conditions.
Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and across various tour types, contingent upon availability.
