Job Title: Volunteer Event Manager for Cricket Casuals

About Us: Cricket Casuals is an enthusiastic community dedicated to celebrating cricket through engaging content and events. We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized individual to join us as a Volunteer Event Manager. This role offers an exciting opportunity to take charge of organising our flagship event, the Content Creators Cup, and contribute to the success of Cricket Casuals.

Role Description: As a Volunteer Event Manager for Cricket Casuals, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and coordinate the logistics and operations of the Content Creators Cup scheduled for Wednesday, 8th May 2024, at Woodhall Spa CC. Working alongside Aidan (@alights98) and other members of the Cricket Casuals, you will play a key role in planning, organising, and executing the event. Additionally, there will be a requirement to travel to Lincoln for this purpose.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the team to plan and execute all aspects of the Content Creators Cup event.
• Coordinate with vendors, sponsors, and stakeholders to ensure a seamless event experience.
• Oversee event setup, management, and breakdown, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
• Take charge and manage the event on the day while members of the Cricket Casuals participate in the tournament.
• Maintain effective communication with all involved parties to ensure the event's success.

Requirements:

• Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage event logistics efficiently.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities to coordinate with various stakeholders.
• Flexibility to travel to designated locations, specifically Lincoln, for event planning purposes.
• Ability to take charge and handle event management responsibilities independently.
• Open to individuals of all abilities and experience levels.
