Women’s High Performance Spin Bowling Coach

Cricket Ireland is seeking a full-time Women’s High Performance (HP) Spin Bowling Coach, to work primarily with the women’s performance squad, but also with spinners in the talent pathway,
initially on a two-year fixed-term contract. With a Women’s ODI World Cup Qualifier in early 2025 there will mainly be a focus on ODI cricket for the senior squad till the end of this event. This
qualifier will also determine qualification for the next International Women’s Championship which starts in November 2025 after the ODI World Cup. The next big event after this is a T20 World
Cup in 2026. There will therefore be a dual focus on both white ball formats up to this event.

With several players based in the North and North-West of the island, the role will be based in Northern Ireland, and therefore due to travel costs and logistics, it is high preferable for the
successful candidate to reside in NI. The role will also require travel to Dublin for training sessions up to twice a week. Whilst CI HQ is based in North Dublin, there are also Provincial offices based in Derry and Belfast. The nature of the role demands a national brief across both sides of the border as well as significant time travelling overseas.
