Facility Development
· Lead the review and implementation of, deliver outcomes and manage reporting on projects throughout South Australia as aligned to the South Australian Cricket Infrastructure Strategy 2019-2029.
· Drive connections, collaboration and creation of partnerships to drive the development implementation of cricket facility projects.
· Identify and deliver key community cricket facility projects for the benefit of the South Australian Cricket Association’s community cricket stakeholders, which in turn facilitate growth in our game.
· Provide support and advice to SACA affiliated clubs, associations, contractors, schools and councils as it relates to community facility development including management of the ‘Places to Play’ project.
· Work with SACA Communications/Marketing team internally to profile and promote facility success stories and best practice to key community cricket stakeholders.
· Oversee the process and program to maintain and update the South Australia’s statewide Facility Audit data.
· Coordinate and manage specialised contractors and consultants when required.
· Contribute to the project partnerships in working with other sporting codes/schools/stakeholders.
Stakeholder Engagement
· Build and develop relationships with South Australian local government and schools to improve and increase facilities, strongly advocating and influencing local government decision-making in supporting our organisational vision to be the sport of choice.
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with key facility and funding providers including councils, schools, clubs, universities, state and federal government.
· Represent SACA on facility / project working groups, events and forums as required
· Profile and promote the Australian Cricket Infrastructure Fund, Places to Play and external funding opportunities as they relate to cricket with Councils, schools and clubs.
· Support local government, schools, consultants and contractors to provide project support (design review/s, advocacy etc) and provision of letters of support where requested.
Funding
· Lead the delivery of the state-level Australian Cricket Infrastructure Fund (ACIF) and SACA’s Places to Play Program. This will include promotion, online application process, coordination of assessment, administration, delivery and activation of completed projects and annual reporting of these programs.
· Liaise with Cricket Australia’s Infrastructure and Facility Specialist in the delivery of SACA community cricket facility projects as part of the ACIF.
· Engage with clubs, schools and local government to connect all project stakeholders in realising partnership opportunities to deliver projects.
· Coordinate and prepare funding applications, reports, presentations and submissions for SACA projects.
