About the role

WA Cricket has some fantastic casual opportunities for new Cricket Blast Officers to work within a dynamic Community Cricket team at one of WA’s leading sporting organisations!

We have multiple Cricket Blast Officer roles available based in Metropolitan Perth.
The Cricket Blast Officer is responsible for organising the delivery of Cricket Blast, School and other cricket experiences through WA Cricket identified opportunities. The Cricket Blast Officer will collaborate with the wider Community Cricket team to achieve results that support the growth in entry level cricket participation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilise data and insights to deliver WA Cricket Blast Programs in schools and in the community.
  • Target and engage priority schools and coordinate Cricket Blast Centres and School Programs in line with the growth strategy. Candidates will leverage the profile of the BBL/WBBL and utilise the Perth Scorchers brand as a strategy for maximising participation.
  • Support (where applicable) the delivery of school holiday programs and post BBL/WBBL activity in the community including Cricket Blast, Social cricket and Girl’s competitions.
  • Undertake a range of tasks as required by the Cricket Manager.
  • Coordinate marketing and communications to promote activities to recruit 5-12 year old participants to start and continue their amazing cricket experience.
