Affiliated with Worcestershire County Cricket Club but acting as a standalone business, Worcestershire Cricket Foundation operates as a charity within the framework of ‘Cricket for all’. This means we use cricket to provide opportunities for every individual across all our communities, ensuring cricket is accessible and enjoyable for everyone.To do this we employ a high performing team who develop and deliver a multitude of programmes in the community across Worcestershire and the Black Country, working with local communities, clubs, schools and other partners to engage thousands of participants each year.

The Executive Director
This critical senior position within our organisation is focused on managing, mentoring and leading an organisation of 15 full time staff (3 direct reports) to ensure the strategic objectives of the Foundation are delivered. This is a business leadership position with control over the P&L, marketing, HR, finance, fundraising and legal aspects of the business and will work closely with the Board of Trustees to ensure the Foundation continues to grow and increase its impact in the community. We are in the process of finalising a 5-year strategy for the Foundation and the Executive Director will play a vital role in finalising this and then delivering this alongside the ECB’s Inspiring Generations strategy for the whole of cricket. Our Foundation is at a critical stage of its development and the Executive Director will be the driving force behind everything that comes next.

This position will pay between £45-£50,000 plus bonus and benefits. This is an office-based position with some evening and weekend work to ensure maximum impact in the community. You must possess the full legal right to work in the UK.
