Athlete Performance Lead

We’re a passionate and enthusiastic team, committed to living and breathing our vision of cricket being a game for all New Zealanders; a game for life.

The role will have responsibility for leading the alignment and delivery of an athlete centred performance program for the WHITE FERNS, so as to assist in the team delivering world-class performance and developing world class players. We will expect the successful candidate to develop, articulate and implement a clear vision for the WHITE FERNS strength and conditioning program that includes individualised programs for players that are aligned with the program’s needs and those of long-term development of the player. You will lead a programme that creates an optimal high-performance environment that will drive sustainable success on the international stage.

You will bring best practice knowledge and experience in female physical development and holistic performance planning, and can demonstrate a history of proven success operating within a high performance environment... Building positive relationships will be key to the success of this role, engaging closely with WHITE FERN players and team management, in addition to high performance personnel within NZC’s six major associations.

You’re a master multitasker and self-starter who can manage their own workflow.  You will need to be super organised, proactive with open communication to allow you to succeed at a high performing level.

We’re always pushing the status quo to find new best practice, and this role will be at the forefront to guide the WHITE FERNS performance on and off the field.

We offer a fun, inclusive, dynamic and flexible work environment, with the opportunity to learn and grow in order to support the growth towards your career goals.  Join in our passion, focus and determination to make cricket a game for all New Zealanders
