Main Duties:
- Provide matchday physiotherapy coverage at all LCCC Second XI fixtures.
- Work within the LCCC Sports Science and Medicine team providing day to day physiotherapy
support for professional/academy squads during summer and the Academy/EPP and the
Women squad (If and when applicable) during winter. - Discuss injury findings/concerns with the Head of Sports Science and Medicine or where
appropriate the Club Doctor at the end of the day/match with any medical interventions
recorded on the ECB electronic injury database. - Work closely with the Head of Sports Science and Medicine and Club Doctor in the
management of complex injuries to ensure the highest quality of evidence-based care for the
LCCC professional and Academy players. - Assist the Head of Sports Science and Medicine and S&C coaches to undertake regular
musculoskeletal screening and injury risk profiling of the Professional and Academy squad to
develop individualised personal preparation plans. - Undertake appropriate professional development to enhance and develop knowledge of best
practice models of injury prevention and management. - Carry out other duties appropriate to the position of Assistant Physio as required for the senior Men’s squad, Academy squad and Women’s squad (If and when applicable).
