Use the ICC levels as a development framework, checking which courses are currently offered by the relevant Member.

Confirm local appointment requirements
Ask the cricket authority or recognised officials association in this jurisdiction about panels, assessments, safeguarding and match appointments.

Stage 4
Gain supported match experience
Work through a recognised club or league, seek feedback and keep Laws knowledge and practical evidence current.
International recognition
ICC courses provide an international learning framework. They do not automatically replace a Japan qualification, registration or appointment requirement.
Practical advice
Keep copies of certificates, practical evidence, safeguarding checks, references and appointment history in your Cricket Passport.
