Purpose of the Role
We are looking for an organised and efficient Cricket Operations Manager to coordinate and administer the High Performance and Pathway programmes within Cricket Scotland. This will include fixture management, recruiting match managers and event staff during the season, organising home internationals and managing the logistics for squads to effectively train and play international matches.
Within this role, the postholder will be the focal point of a supportive, innovative and inspiring environment that delivers more opportunities and great experiences to drive transformational growth.
Within this role, the post holder will be responsible for:
 
Co-ordination of the men’s and women’s Performance programme
The post holder will support the Head of Operations and programme leads in the coordination of the programme, including:
  • Fixture and tour organisation
  • Booking travel and accommodation arrangements,
  • Player eligibility monitoring
  • Administering players’ kit and equipment
Co-ordination of Senior Men’s and Women’s international matches and ICC Events
Supporting the Head of Operations in the Delivery of logistics surrounding matches including but not limited to the following:
  • Planning
  • Venue setup
  • Supplier management
  • Security
Supporting the Head of Performance in the management of away international matches and tours including: 
  • Travel and accommodation (liaison with ICC as appropriate)
  • Squad Visas
  • Itinerary and relevant documentation
Coordination of national youth male and female programmes 
Supporting the Head of Pathway with management of the national youth programme including:
  • Travel & accommodation arrangements,
  • ICC Tournament logistics
  • Overseas tours logistics
  • Player eligibility, match day logistics, match managers, officials, scorers, catering
  • Coordination of clothing/equipment
  • Supporting with the delivery of the junior regional programme

Job Details

Required Skills & Experience
Clearly demonstrate knowledge and understanding of sports administration
Excellent organisational ability, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and work on own initiative.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
A good understanding of and commitment to Equality Diversity & Inclusion
Experience of working with project management software or databases
IT literate including Microsoft office programmes.
Enthusiastic and highly motivated with the ability to motivate others.
Flexible approach to adapt to the needs of the role.
Pay rate
£27,088 - £31,358
