ASSISTANT MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT (CATERING)

A fantastic opportunity to join the Catering Finance Team as Assistant Management Accountant is now available. This role supports the management accounts process with reconciliation of sales and costs whilst acting as a Finance Business Partner to budget holders so they have all the management information needed.

This role is key to ensuring all catering cricket revenue is captured accurately across the full range of matches from internationals to county matches in order to ensure timely match performance reports are produced.

This role will assist in the compilation, analysis and reporting of data to produce month end accounts, budgets and forecasts.

Required Skills & Experience
Strong administrative and organisational ability will be essential to ensure that methodical working practices are employed to maintain a high level of accuracy whilst working quickly under pressure to meet deadlines.
Strong IT skills are essential, in particular advanced excel skill to develop and improve the departments financial reporting tools.
Ideally, the successful candidate will have experience of similar large scale catering operations and familiarity with accounting software packages.
Flexibility is vital as there is a regular need to cover evenings and weekends as well as working extended hours during the cricket season and all Major Match Days.
