Reporting to the Head of Safeguarding, County Safeguarding Officers act as the point of contact for safeguarding cases across allocated areas of responsibility and use Yorkshire Cricket’s case management system to ensure accurate and robust records are kept. With a key role in the development, implementation and delivery of safeguarding training, the post holder will also act as an Event Safeguarding Officer, as required.

Safeguarding is a critical function within the People and Culture team, and we are looking for an experienced Safeguarding Officer to support the successful implementation of our safeguarding strategy across both the professional and recreational game. This role is open to flexible working arrangements, including hybrid working. County Safeguarding Officers are required to travel countywide at times, as well as working on evenings and weekends when required.
