Queensland Cricket are looking for an energetic and self-motivated Finance Officer to join our Finance team.

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Finance Officer is responsible for supporting the Finance team by processing bank reconciliations, expenses and revenues, preparing weekly vendor payments and contributing during month-end and year-end.

Key responsibilities include:
• Assist the accounts payable function including preparing weekly vendor payments, processing of credit card transactions and administration of applicable finance systems
• Coordinate accounts receivable function by accurately creating customer invoices and credit notes within the finance system
• Liaise with appropriate departmental managers and communicate with customers to secure payment on a timely basis
• Record all relevant bank transactions into the Finance system and ensure they are accurately reconciled and completed within monthly deadlines
• Assist with month end reporting
